Topic: Not a joke, but because I have to ask somewhere...
I want to write a story (well, duh) and I want it to be humorous, obviously, but it's got a lot about death in it. Well, death can be funny, but in the plot, there are a lot of things that could be... Taken wrong, should I a. dumb it down (so to speak) b. put it up the way it is and run the risk of possibly offending A LOT of people or c. not put it up at all? (Or d. do you have a solution?) I need some outside feed back because everyone I know has a really sick sense of humor...

Lee's ghost re-born
Just write it, and worry how people will take it later. Half the books around never would have been published if the athours didn't break the fear of public reaction. My advice is run with it, go with your 1st instinked. And yes, death *can* be funny, but the death has to stand out from the norm. Like Mel Brooks said "If I cut my finger that's a tready. If I walk into an open swer and die that's comody." (Sorry about my spelling. I'm the wrost!)
