Author has written 26 stories for General. This is what comes of insomnia: I sit, toes crushed under knees,
fingers cold, typing and clinking and writing a profile, which nobody
will read, and I shall forget.
I am Shada. I read. I write. I live. But what is it that I find in this? Eternity,---or the dim blank of oblivion? I vacillate between the two. And when I pause in thought, I write what I have felt. "A poet is an unhappy being whose heart is torn by secret
sufferings, but whose lips are so strangely formed that when the sighs and the
cries escape them, they sound like beautiful music."
