Greetings and welcome to my profile! I am Authorninjaearth, or for those who've been with me for a while, just call me Reggie. I am both authoring poetry as well as short stories; I've yet to write my novel, but hey, working on it!!! I've been writing since I was 13, but I've only been writing poetry and stories since I was 15. Since then, I've had much to record based on my life. My stories have been full of many issues like love, discovering the truth of life, and enduring the hardships of things that would other-wise deny a person the freedom to press on in life. I am also a Christian since August 1998 and my story has changed dramatically within that time. I may not have a "successful" ministry like some, but it has been successful in the sense that God has been glorified (at least, I hope so). My works all have displayed something that God has done in my life, whether it be past or the present, and looking to the future, I still await the ultimate victory that lies in Christ as well as the beginning of additional milestones in my life (marriage, graduating from college and then seminary, having a family, owning my own arcade LOL). I am finally 30 (I'm officially true adult age now)and I reside in the midwest, in Kansas. My two goals right now are to finish my education (entering the ministry) while I work full-time and settle down for marriage (that also means I'm looking for a wifey!!!!) Writing is a passion of mine that's not been fairly attented to because I"m busy with videogames (PS3 is king) and other affairs of life. I'm involved in my church (baptist at the heart...well, Reformed Baptist rather) and I work for the public schools of the town I'm in as a paraeducator. While it's not forever, it's just until I finish my undergrad degree and start the ministry, looking to go full-time eventually. I am desiring, with God's leading and calling, to be a pastor and a teacher in theology (I went to teach Bible college as well). In the rift of all of that though, I want to really start publishing my works real-time. I have had only one poem officially published in anthology long ago, but hopefully within the next year or two I will have that next, first-time, full-fledged published piece of work. It will most likely be a work of poetry, but am working on a short novel. Til then, I publish work on here for all to enjoy and to also know about the Lord Jesus Christ. In Him I live and have my being; without Him, I do not exist nor do I have life. Salvation is only found in Him, for there is no one or anything thing, or by any other name in who salvation rest. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life, and the only One that can save lost souls from Hell. To dig deeper, check out some of my poems that tell about this great savior: "For Me" has tons of Scriptural implications for what's called the gospel (good news) and I encourage you to check it out so that you can know Jesus Christ and the love He demonstrated to all mankind, especially to those that snare Him and don't believe. All my work is based on the events of my life and God's wondeful grace, including in the hard times.
