favorite movies: black book, flesh + blood, a clockwork orange, most any decent zombie flick (dead alive's the best though), little children, gladiator, gone with the wind, elizabeth, the departed, blade runner, thelma and louise, gangs of new york, army of darkness, l.a. confidential, and quills.

favorite music: flogging molly, the tossers, sleater-kinney, le tigre, bikini kill, dead can dance, dropkick murphys, the gossip, widespread panic, and mouth music. marc gunn's irish and celtic podcast is pretty fun too.

i'm a history and journalism major at the university of missouri-columbia. right now i'm taking a class called the ancient world, which inspired me to research mysterious crete and egypt like crazy.
