I turned twenty-one in June. I'd been looking forward to that birthday pretty much since forever and now that it's gone and past, I wish I were young again so that I wouldn't have to deal with all the responsibilities of being an adult. Funny how that works.

I'm a history major and an aspiring lawyer (not all history majors become teachers, thank you very much). I love writing and I especially like writing from a villain's perspective, getting in their heads and seeing what makes them tick.

My favorite authors are Robin McKinley, Tamora Pierce, and Phillip Pullman, closely followed by J.K. Rowling. I believe that no one is ever too old to read a good story and it doesn't matter what age group it is considered for.

Best piece of advice about writing I've been given: kick your characters in the butt and follow them.
