Author has written 25 stories for Fantasy, General, Romance, General, Song, Life, Spiritual, Thriller, Religion, Love, and Essay. I love writing and I've been a member of fictionpress for years. My pen name as well as some of my stories are somewhat immature by now, but I can't bring myself to delete or change them as they show me just how far I've come in my writing. My new pen name is Helen Cole but I will not likely change it soon as it would mess up my URL. One of the stories I am the most proud of is Am I Doing My Best At Being A Good LDS?. However, I do not agree with the way it was originally written which made The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (the "mormon" church) sound restricting and painful whereas I have now found that living in a way to please God provides more freedom and joy than I have ever found otherwise. However, I do not want to delete nor edit the story due to its history. One day, years ago, I was curiously looking to see if I could find stories about my religion. Ironically, I found flames against the "mormon" church and one funny story about green jello. haha. Anyway, I decided to write a poem about my religion as I could find none. Soon therafter, I was bombarded with reviews of other people who wanted to share their beliefs also. After that, I found more and more stories with this topic and it reminded me of the power of the pen. (Or in this case the keyboard) In any case, I love God and I can't not share that. So whatever it is you believe in or hold dear, share it, proclaim it! Do not hold it in for only you to see. I am always interested in learning about different beliefs and opinions so please let me know when you post them. The most recent book I am working on is Love Beyond Red Roses, which I am really wanting to get published, (hopefully) so I would really appreciated constructive criticism. Thank you. :) | |||||||
