And there I was, thinking that the only censorship on the internet was self-censorship.

Well.
What can I say? What can be said? It's been swell, but the swelling's gone down. It's time to move on.

Really, I'm gutted. But who am I to disagree with the Powers That Be at ff.net? They've made their decision. I doubt that any kind of petition or moaning from our good selves is going to change things.

Strange really, that ff.net claims that NC-17 fics have "...generated almost all of the complaints filed on record in the past year..."
Surely that was the whole point of the ratings system? That if you are easily offended, you take heed of the warnings and just don't read the damn stuff? And really, just who is it that is bothering to complain? Whatever happened to freedom of speech? Sure, I may not like some of the writing out there, but each to his own, y'know? I wouldn't ever complain.

But hey. Life's too short and all that. So. I definately won't be giving up on Parkslash. No siree. I just have to find a new home for my babies, that's all.
