Okay, here goes! If you don't like lengthy bios or a whole lot of quotes, well, what can I say, I feel talkative, so skip to the stories!
@}--------------,------’------------
I'm a single mother of two small boys and custodian of my little sister since our father is no longer with us, I write in what little spare time I have. Mostly 'Scarecrow and Mrs. King' fanfic, 'Phantom Of The Opera' PhanPhic, and original works
My favorite things:
My two beautiful little boys, who are now 5 and 1 1/2.
My little sister, who is an absolute joy at 3 1/2.
Listening to music, I love Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera, Verdi's Aida, Gounod's Faust, Dance Of The Vampires or Tanz Der Vampire (yeah, yeah, I know, campy, but oh well, the music speaks!) Michael Crawford, Tim Martin Gleason, Ted Keegan, Sarah Brightman, Steve Barton, Michael Ball, Raymond Jaramillo McLeod, Madonna, The Calling, Boston, Chicago, Dan Hill, Backstreet Boys, Celine Dion, Meatloaf, Lonestar, Collin Raye, Alabama (To Name a few!) and have one of the most ecclectic cd collections this side of the Atlantic.
Favorite Phantoms: ohhhhhh! Okay, updating this one here, Michael Crawford obviously no explanation needed! Ted Keegan Current touring cast whom I had the honor of seeing onstage on November 21, and yes, I'm STILL crying! Ted does a beautiful MOTN if you do not have his CD WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR! Next, Tim Martin Gleason, who normally is Raoul in the touring cast (see below) and is also a Phantom Alternate whom I had the distinct pleasure of seeing twice in that role Dec. 19 and 21, and I'm still crying over that too. Makes me want to head right out to Toledo! He's excellent if you like an Angry Erik, and I must say that his "I love you's" at the end are rivaled only by Ted's . . . right now, those two are running neck and neck. Then there's Charles Dance from the 1990 made for television movie version, His Erik is somewhat calm and reserved, and I kinda like that they gave him a family of some sort. His rages are still there, if you look for the right scene, but his protectivness of Christine definitly rings true to the love I believe Erik had for Christine.
Favorite Christines: Rebecca Pitcher, Current US touring cast whom I had the lovely luck to see on two occasions, best I've heard since the original and a sweet lady to boot. And of course, Sarah Brightman, Original London Cast, who has the most amazing female voice I have ever heard.
Favorite Raouls: Steve Barton, Original London Cast, plus I've also heard his Krolock . . . we lost a great talent when he passed. I'm usually a fop hater, but one other has made me believe in the character's genuininity, and that is Tim Martin Gleason, Current Touring Cast. What else can I say, I get a kick out of hearing a Raoul with a Jersey 'R'!
As for TV, It's Scarecrow and Mrs. King, and at this moment nothing else for me, thanks! Don't have a lot of TV time, I'm afraid, and my late nights when I have the time are totally and completely consumed with my computer time, lol. And as you can obviously tell, that's where my TV fanfic writing seems to be strongest, Lee and Amanda give me a lot of inspiration, and I enjoy playing around with them!
I love to read, and when I'm in the mood for a good book, I usually pick out something POTO related (Leroux or Kay, if you have not read Kay, GET WITH IT! GO TO E-BAY!) Also a favorite is Shakespeare, my fave play being McBeth. Strange, I know. Or now, I'm working my way through Jane Eyre (thanks Danielle!) by Charlotte Bronte. Bronte sisters are good, after JE, I've got Wuthering Heights marked off next. Another excellent read is Dickens, I have a few of his, and he's . . . okay, he's excellent! Or if you want something more contemporary, check out the Harry Potter books. Childish? I think not!
I've been writing in one form or another for over eleven years now. I found this site, and decided it was time to show my work to the world! Comments about my work? Just wanna talk? Feel free to IM me on AOL (See Above) I love meeting new people, especially those who like my labors of love!

And if you actually read all that, one last one for you . . . Bravi, bravi, bravissimi!
