Feb 6th 2003: About five or six days ago I reviewed an AU fic (which has since been deleted) where Buffy had an affair with Spike only to find out he had a pregnant wife. In my review I commented that Spike was a bastard for cheating on his pregnant wife. The very next person who reviewed the fic showered abuse on me and threatened to beat me up. This left me unsettled and angry, and the next fic I read, I left a not-very-nice review. The author replied, and I ended up getting into a row on someone else's review page, something which (as I'm sure most of you know) I had previously criticised in others. (hangs head in shame) I'm tired of the politics that go on here, I'm tired of the small yet vocal minority (I have to believe it's a minority) of Spike and B/S fans who go ballistic if you criticise or don't like their favourite character or 'ship. I'm quite depressed over it, so don't expect any updates for a while.
