Miss K Ree makes her home in eastern Kentucky where the mountains close in around a person to hold up the sky. She misses her family but finds peace and satisfaction in the work and people of these hills. She collects stories in her soul and tries to share the wonder with those she meets.

Miss K Ree has been writing since the tender age of 8. She grew up with Peter and Lucy. Gilbert Blythe taught her to write about things that she knows. And that boy who had his own side of a mountain has always been an especially close friend. In the past year or two she has gotten to know C.S. Lewis on a deeper level. Cinda Williams Chima sent her on an adventure with a hunky warrior named Jack. Her heart has broken again and again with Cadi and the Sin Eater. Harry and Ron have finally grown up. Perhaps Miss K Ree has as well? She noticed recently that she has been spending more time in the non-fiction section at the library. Perhaps it has to do with her passion to understand and combat poverty or her growing passion for a Man with gentle calloused hands who is patiently teaching her to walk in His footsteps?
