Allright, I am sick and tired of watching this site spin it's wheels and go nowhere.
The current staff have done a wonderfull job at creating a database system in which to -post- our writings. They have even taken the time to create forums to allow for general discussion of various topics here on the site. Now its time to improve upon the bare bones foundation that they have put into place. We need improvements In three key areas:
Comunity Comunication, Forums, Article Search
1) Forum improvement: It's time to get some moderators and organize the forums. Plain and simple.
2) Superior Article Searching: Right now we can search by genre and title or author. How about word count or review count. Word cound will allow us to sift through all the one liners and tenth of a chaper posts to find REAL stories. Something that we can sink out teeth into. Be able to search by total length, average words per chapter and number of reviews given.
3) Increase Comunity Connectivity: Start a project to increase true communication between authors. Organize 'writers' circles and ciritique programs to get us talking to one another and improve our craft.
