Here's a little non-story for you.

What if that whole debacle with Daniel and Jonas was the result of MGM tuning into the wrong reality? Confused yet?

The four figures flickered into view. Each had a hand placed against a cool glass surface, a mirror that reflected the room, but not them. With a rush, they regained their senses. They fell down at the same time, landing together on the stone floors.

“Damn it, Daniel! What did I tell you about touching that damn mirror?”

The young man winced. “Sorry, Jack,” he said.

Jack only nodded and roughly pushed a hand through his short hair. “That was the weirdest reality we’ve visited by far,” Jack said shaking his head.

Daniel frowned. “What was so weird about it?”

His three teammates turned to him in shock. “Are you joking? Everything was screwed up!” Jack said sounding incredulous. He couldn’t believe Daniel hadn’t seen anything wrong with that upside down dimension they’d just returned from.

“You were gone, Daniel!” Sam pointed out heatedly. “You’d ascended.”

“And I really couldn’t stand that Jonas character,” Jack added.

Daniel looked over at him, obviously baffled by the reactions of his teammates. “I thought he was nice.”

“Well, you would,” Jack said with exasperation.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Daniel demanded.

“Daniel, you befriended an Unas, for crying out loud. You’re not exactly picky about choosing your friends.”

Daniel stared pointedly at O’Neill. “Obviously not.”

Just a little Meredian fix for all of you. Though, it really isn't needed anymore, because Daniel's coming back!
