Author has written 28 stories for General, General, Fantasy, Haiku, Life, and Friendship. I'm 25 years old, from the U.S.A.(western NY), and I have a passion for writing. I also have an English degree with a minor in Spanish from the University at Buffalo. At the moment I'm a Library Associate and I'm pursuing a Master's degree in Library Science. I will be a Librarian by the Fall of 2009. I'm a big fan of Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter. I love to read and write. I also have interests in poetry, literature, philosophy, short stories, fanfics, and novels...basically any and all forms of writing. All work is the property of the author. I also have some writings on fanfiction.net, with disclaimers using another person's world, so feel free to check them out. Also if you'd like to be updated about a certain story just let me know in your review or email me. Also, I've set up my own online diary to try and keep my sanity. If you'd like to take a glimpse into my mind or know a little more about me, leave a comment. Oh yes, if you do happen to IM me, make mention that you're from fictionpress. Some More Info About Me: Age-24 Favorite Books/Authors: Forgotten Realms series(R.A. Salvatore) Favorite Movies: Star Wars movies Favorite TV show: Whose Line is it Anyway? Some interesting quotes: "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you."-Nietzsche "There was never a genius without a tincture of madness."-Aristotle "This delighted me, naturally, because a library was something I could understand. It was the one human place in which I still felt some measure of old sanity."-Marius, page 430 of 'The Vampire Lestat' “His brain then started to contend with the problem of what his eyes told it what they were looking at, but in doing so relinquished control of the mouth which promptly fell open again.”-Restaurant at the End of the Universe “And I write novels!” chimed the other cop. “Though I haven’t had any of them published yet, so I better warn you, I’m in a meeeean mood!”-Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy "Close your eyes and surrender to your darkest dreams"-Phantom of the Opera "When I die...may there be friends who will grieve for me, who will carry our shared joys and pains, who will carry my memory. This is the immortality of the spirit, the ever-lingering legacy, the fuel of grief. But so, too, the fuel of faith." -Drizzt Do'Urden, from Forgotten Realms "I don't think I've had enough rum for this kind of talk."-Elizabeth Swan from Pirates of the Caribbean...Savvy? (insert caffeine and/or sugar for rum and that'll be accurate for myself and some comrades of mine) “A scream echoes, piercing the veil of our conscious self; but silence echoes forever in eternity, more powerful and everlasting than a single scream.”-A quote by me after being inspired by an RP I'm writing with a friend "Well behaved women rarely make history." - found this randomly online and it amused me 08/25/09- I completed graduate school and now have my MLS (Master of Library Science). I haven't had much time for writing, except for drabbles in various journal communities. I hope to embark on writing some original works, once I refine my style with some fanfictions. I shall try to add some poems when inspiration strikes. However, many items are on hiatus at the moment due to the whole finding a full-time job thin It seems that some of my stories have been 'eaten' or sucked into some abyss, so I will post them again. I have to edit "Prophecy" because it appears that it happened with that story, along with several other works of mine. :sigh: A lot of my work was hand written and some things I didn't back up on disks before my computer crashed, so it may take some time to get that back up. However, I am determined. | |||||||
