--SOLO FIC NEWS--
Well, as you all know, I've been busy working on "The Cold Touch of Rain", and I'm glad everyone seems to be enjoying it. "The Final Beginning" will get finished, I promise, but it may take some time, because I'm trying to contentrate hard on my Wormtongue fic. I have some other ideas for new stories, so always be on the lookout.

Keep your eyes peeled for a story that I just came up with...it's gonna be a good one...but I'm not going to start it until I finish the other fics that I'm working on. Or else my Wormtongue'ness will never get done. And you guys might kill me. But there's more on the way! So be happy!

I'm thinking of finishing some of the other stories that I started last year, and never completed. I'll be taking requests. Any that you are DYING to see get finished? E-mail me and let me know.


--COLLAB NEWS--
Kristin and I are in the process of working on two collab serieses (haha), under the Breegirls name. One is the infamous humor series, and the other is completely new. PLEASE be patient with us, Kristin's computer blew up, so she doesn't have as much time to write as she used to. Ian and I are still looking to finish our James Bond collab, under XXX Hard Core Fans. Also, keep checking Riders of Rohan for any misc. collabs, and a Haldir fic that Lily is working on.


--PERSONAL NEWS--
Senior year is halfway over, amazingly, and...I've been accepted at Bard College. Very happy. Planning on forming a Tolkien society there, if I go.

I've also seen TTT 10 times so far. ;)

My name is De (and my Elvish name is Gilraen, surprisingly.) I'm 17, and from NY. As you can figure out from my list of fics below, I'm a very big Tolkien fan. I'm not a purist in any way, shape, or form, so I do change a lot when I write. I am firmly in love with Aragorn (if you couldn't tell from reading the Breegirls collabs), but I also have a soft spot for Éomer, Faramir, and...Wormtongue. But we won't go there.

Read my fics, please, and let me know what you think. My personal all-time favorite is "Treason of the War Elves of Rivendell". But I think I'm going to rewrite it, or construct a prequel of some sorts. Let me know your thoughts on that. On the topic of my fics, I'm not a big fan of "The Portal of Lorien" and "Return of the Mist" - those are two of my early fics, and, in my opinion, the weakest. Again, your thoughts would be appreciated.

I don't usually flame people unless there's a good reason, so if you're looking at my bio because I've left you a nasty review, it's probably because...
A) You did something annoying with Arwen. I hate Arwen.
B) You destroyed Aragorn's character or insulted his dignity.
or
C) You wrote a distastefully tacky slash between Frodo and Sam.

But, like I said, my flames are few and far between. I don't give them unless they've violated my personal De-rules.
