Author has written 17 stories for Humor, Humor, General, Fantasy, Manga, Essay, Sci-Fi, Romance, School, and Action. (11/8/09) It's been a while since I updated, right? I don't really have an excuse, but I've been editing WIASB and doing some homework. But I should be studying for my GRE exams and writing letters for grad school. I'm going to be graduating this year. Anyway, I'm considering taking down the majority of the chapters of WIASB. It's almost completely edited. I'm thinking about leaving up the first chapter and maybe a select few, but otherwise it should go down sometime before the end of this year. Same with HW. As for the others, I'll finish them, get some feedback, edit, then take them down. (9/4/09) To anyone reading this profile, I'm considering whether I should stop posting my stories on here or not. I'll always write, but I'm planning on publishing the majority of my stories, and I'm wondering if I really should be posting all of them here. I'll post any side stories that will not be published, but the characters will always be the same from one of my hope-to-be-published stories. An unrelated note, I'm posting a new story called "The Coreolis Effect." I know I just said I'm thinking about not posting new stories, but this story involves several of my friends from fanfiction, so I'm posting it here so they can read it. (7/17/09) Attention readers! (If I have any, that is.) I'm working on a story on my fanfiction account and therefore will be on hiatus until that story is complete. Not a problem, though, I'll only be gone for two months at the most (about a month and a half, actually, because I started on the last day of last month and am halfway through). The story's only seven chapters and I've got three done and it won't take long. (5/17/09) Yeah, yeah, sorry. I know I've only been updating small one-shot spinoffs of my already or soon to be posted stories. I've been relatively busy though. I just finished midterms last week and it's been rather stressful, let me tell you. I have a debate coming up in a week and I have to prepare my part. Also, I haven't been able to concentrate on one thing only. It's my future story, Kamikaze Style one minute, then rewriting Hurricane Wind the next, and editing World in a Soccer Bag the other. And I've lost inspiration on Popularity Show for the time being, so I need to find something new to work on or find my inspiration for Popularity Show. (4/7/09) I just felt like saying this randomly. I'm an optimistic pessimist, which means that I think that if people got their act together then the world could be a better place, except I don't think people will get their act together anytime soon if at all, so the world most likely won't be a better place anytime soon. Guess what? I dated my last post wrong, the year isn't 08, it's 09 but sometimes I get years mixed up at the first half of a new year. (3/31/08) A new story for you guys, and it's a one-shot. It's a crossover between Shuichi's World, which is already on my profile, and a future story of mine, Kamikaze Style. Only Shuichi is from Shuichi's World, her and the situation in her story. The other characters are a few from another story I will write someday. (2/26/09) I know. I'm overdue for an update. Sorry, but things aren't going the way I want them to. Whenever I'm at home, when I have time to work on my stories, I'm too busy playing video games. When I'm at school, my inspiration is mostly gone and I'm stressed about various things (not classes, mostly the problems my friends have). If I don't update chapter two of PS by the end of this month, I'll definitely have it up before the end of March. (2/11/09) Halfway through the school year and I'm so stressed. No, it's not mostly because of classes. Friends having issues and telling me about it can be my biggest issue. Tiring. (1/6/09) Is it the new year already? But I'm not ready! hides under a rock Just kidding about the rock part. Still, I've got a pretty interesting schedule for college this year. Nothing on Thursdays, a lot of stuff on Wednesdays, four hours of classes on every other day, and I need time adjusting to being in school. My updates may not be as frequent, but none of you out there would want me to fail my classes, right? Anyway, here's the plan. I'm going to try to finish Popularity Show sometime before this year ends, and start on Five Under Fire depending on how frequent my inspiration for that story comes and goes. (12/28/08) People who are waiting for the next chapter of Popularity Show, I apologize for the wait. I know what's supposed to happen, but it's a little hard to get it out on the word document exactly the way I want it to. I've got a few inspirations for Five Under Fire, and I'll probably be rewriting that instead of continuing on what I have. There's one other thing, I've been busy playing Fire Emblem this break, so that's another reason why my updates are so slow. Sorry again. (12/3/08) I haven't updated in a long time. Sorry! I've been too busy to keep up with editing this thing, but I'll try to update at least this more frequently. Remember that story I had a while back, High School Fairytale or whatever else I used to call it? Yeah, I rewrote it and it's better than ever. It's under the name Popularity Show now. If you want to read it, just head over to the story. Finals coming up next week. I don't think I'll be doing any serious writing until Winter Break. Why don't you try taking four science classes and tell me how that turns out? It's not pretty, I'll tell you. About The International Base, I'm going to take a temporary break on it. Popularity Show has only twelve chapters, which are shorter, and I need to think more about what's going to happen in The International Base. Oh, and I have an avatar now. It's Micah Carli from the band Hawthorne Heights. (5/10/08) So World in a Soccer Bag has been done since the end of last month. I liked writing chapter twelve. It was funny, especially when the other people on the soccer team come in. And the pharaoh. So that's another story done. The International Base is next, officially, but I may start working on The Minority and North High Academic Squad at the same time. "Science and Poetry Don't Mix" The International Base Popularity Show The Coreolis Effect Hurricane Wind--Hayami Ryuji was as normal as a Japanese teenager living in Korea could be. Then, for unexplainable reasons, his classmate and rival, Choi Jongsoo, invites him on a trip to Canada with him to visit his cousins. Now he's got some new problems to deal with. Vengeful gangsters, world traveling, and crazy plans that never work? That's only scratching the surface. Blame it all on his new friends--every last one of them! Join Ryuji and the crew as they live life, learn lessons, and try not to kill each other. Shuichi's World--Lisa "Shuichi" Gering has had a hard life, but she can escape the harshness of reality by escaping to the World, a place of her own creation where she can fight the physical manifestations of her pain. But her pain becomes too strong for her to overcome it and forces her to retreat to reality. Shuichi isn't about to give up hope, though, and this time, she isn't alone. With her closest friends by her side, Shuichi returns to the World to overcome her past and to learn that she is never truly alone. Popularity Show--Bryan Kunishige is an overachiever, an honors and AP student. Katrina Peterson is Little Miss Popular, the princess of her school. Bryan and Katrina share a secret--they're dating. Social pressures keep their relationship under wraps, much to Bryan's dismay and discomfort. He's lying to his friends, to himself, and everything he believes in. She believes she can have both her popularity and the person she loves. But can a relationship held together by lies be true love, and can it truly remain? Five Under Fire--Josh Mosley, Alex Kanabe, Dustin Forrester, Christian O'Connor, and Mike Gray are known as the Pasadena Five, the most annoying people in their hometown. But other then when they're making general nuisances of themselves, life has been peaceful for them. But on the first week of summer break, an unexpected gunshot rings out from downtown and shatters the uneventfulness of their lives. With little to no common sense between them, the five are determined to get to the bottom of the mystery themselves. World in a Soccer Bag -- Erin Nguyen is in no way like other teenage girls. She loves soccer, not gossiping. She's not a social person and hates shopping. Still, there's no way that Erin would want to get eaten by an evil soccer bag! But when such a bag eats some girls from her school and spits her out, it's up to her to do something about the situation. With a little help from J.V. Alger and Marquis Carter, whose soccer team was also eaten by the soccer bag, Erin just might put aside her own selfishness for once in her life. The International Base -- Jonie Patel is a student at M.I.T., and all he wants to do during the summer is get ready for his last year as an undergraduate. Too bad he's got a clingy girlfriend who's overstayed her welcome and a notorious crime syndicate on his back. And there's the matter of the motley crew that he has crossed paths with. They must work together if they ever want to bring down the deadly organization that has them on its radar. So much for a normal summer break. The Coreolis Effect -- it is a time of great peace on the continent of Polaris. Unfortunately, this peace does not extend to Coreolis. A small country on the westernmost part of Polaris, two rivaling factions battle for power of the kingdom. One group seeks the betterment of its ties with its neighbors; the other wants to destroy them all. Enter Aria, a traveling tactician spell caster in search of work. She will find what she is looking for in Coreolis, and it will be up to her to lead her employers and the small band of recruited soldiers to victory. Credits To all of my friends in high school, the SHS group, because without them I wouldn't have most of my stories or most of my characters. (Telly K Netic, Confunded Mistress, and Peach Flavored Octopus are three other members of the SHS group who have profiles here. Check them out.) RIP Casey Calvert of Hawthorne Heights | |||||||||||
