I'm currently working on my first novel; unfortunately, I was brutally attacked by a plot bunny and convinced to work on a Harry Potter fanfic. It's... not your usual fanfic. (See my likes/dislikes - you'll understand.)

Likes: Snape, Hermione, Snape/Hermione, Harry Potter in general, C.J. Cherryh's "Cyteen", Margaret Weis's "Star of the Guardians" books, weird indie music from the eighties, reading good HP fic (the lovely ladies of SevenOfQuills' work, Riley's fic, Flourish's fantastic "Coda: Hero"), highlighting my hair various shades of blonde and caramel, guys able to hold intellectual conversations, the rain, tea, lemonade, drinking tea/lemonade while enjoying some lovely light reading - perhaps something of Vachss', Derek Sagan, writing (of course!), anything off the 10000 Maniacs album "Blind Man's Zoo", thinking, my One Ring, Alan Rickman's gorgeous voice, Veruca Salt (the band), feminism, humanism, Max the Silent, getting my nails French-tipped in black, Starbucks, Katherine Neville's "The Eight", the Smiths, fishnets.

Dislikes: Guys who are morons, pop music, people who act as if they have the right to insult your writing despite the fact they cannot spell, poor grammar, illiteracy, bible-thumpers, biology, people who cannot accept their own faults and learn from them, bad things, cigarette smoke, MS Word spellchecker, Windows Millenium Edition, writing essays on silly topics, true or false questions, Dion Starfire (the ungrateful prat), Ron Weasley, sexism, Yahoo's evil machinations with my emails, my absolute failure to grasp French.
