"I like to write stories. Realy weird ones you have been warned. Most of them are about animals. When I get older I want to be a novelist of a Journalist. My favorite colour is red. My favorite food is Spaghetti. I like to listen to music and read too."
Obviously this was writen along time ago...four years ago to be exact. From reading the above paragraph it is apparent that its time to update my profile...and to work on my grammar.
So here it is:
My name is Melissa. I am working on my way to becoming a journalist or novelist. In fact I recently graduated from college in 2005. As of now I am currently enrolled in university in Australia.
I still like to read and my favourite colour is red. Like that really matters anyways and its true, my stories tend to be a touch weird but I can write serious ones. Lately a lot of my stories have been inspired by my friends in real life, specifically the ones in Australia. :P Also when I write I tend to switch from past tense to present tense or present tense to past tense. Its something I am working on.
Current Stories I am working on:
Song of the Superheroes:
It involves the adventures of Bamboozles crime fighting duo Captain Bottle Pop and Mrs. Bruce Willis Man. Some say their superheroes but it’s apparent that they are actually super bullies. Sarah Evans a reporter along with her dog Finbarpurpleton vow to uncover the truth about them. Along the way other insane characters are introduced as well as random chaos. Not to mention the most beautiful boy ever seen and the dreaded unspeakable name.
The Drama of Being:
This story is rather an experiment...Its about Carly McNilsen, an aspiring writer, her nerdy photographer friend James who hates the entire world and her best friend Noel. A unexpected incident inspires Carly to go on a different adventure, which eventually leads to love possibly other things.
Journey To the Fifth Continent
Commander Tom Branningan is sent on a exploration mission to the fifth continent on a new planet. Can he and his friends Commander Anna Zelaway and his silent yet super intelligent pet cat Sebastian survive the peril in this matriarchal world? So far only the prologue is complete. There will be more to come on this one.
The Adventures of Caromel:
The random adventures of Melissa, a know it all and Carol, an argumentative a fat girl set on being a waitress. Melissa is a international student from Canada studying in Australia, but what happens when her Canadian friend Carol comes for a visit? Its basically writen in script format.
Heres an example...
Melissa: Flamingos are pink because they eat shrimp.
Carol: Noooo…they’re pink because of pollution and drinking pink water.
P.S. I WANT REVIEWS!
