Author has written 23 stories for General, Romance, Mythology, and General. Welcome :) About Me: I am a twenty-three yr old female and I live in Toronto, Ontario. I am in enrolled at York University and soon I will be teaching highschool, hopefully. Now that I have said that, you've probably figured out that I don't plan on being a professional author or anything like that. Writing is my hobby and a hobby that has been railroaded by school work unfortunately. I love reading. I have since I was in grade four. I cannot begin to list my favourite books and authors because there are just too many to count and I always fall in and out of love with books (and then usually in again!). I am always in love with different movies or tv shows, but inevitably the shows I am most interested in come one while I am at school or work. Fate working against me, I'm sure. Nonetheless, I was recently obsessed with Paranormal State and in some of my short stories that have yet to be published, the paranormal has made its appearance. I love Flashpoint and In Plain View. There is crime, suspense and quirky characters, who could ask for more. My Love Affair: Sharks and chartity organizations. Everyone should watch Sharkwater. I love sharks and I will swim with a great white shark. I'm so excited! I recently learned of a new charity that was started up by a highschool student at my placement. It's called Students without Status and raises money for scholarships for prospective students without Canadian status who cannot apply for other scholarships and bursaries because of their lack of status. It's just starting up so their website which is the organization name . com may not be up yet, but I'll let you know when it is. Random current obsessions. I'll let you know when I form another one. My Stories: Blood Series: A series, but each can stand alone. Vials of Blood - This needs to be edited and rewritten, I know. I wrote it when I was 15, forgive me. Blood Red Roses - Also probably needs editing, but it's fine. Blood-Streaked - I agree with most people, this is the best of the Blood series. Tears of Blood - Not finished, it may never be finished. I beg for everyone's forgiveness. Maybe, one day, but don't hold your breath. So sorry! Short Stories: All unrelated. I now have many short stories. Most are inspired by songs like My Favourite Mistake I am told is cute, sweet and witty. I'm glad because that was what I was aiming for. Others include Didn't Say You Were Sorry, Goodbye My Lover, and Addicted. There may be more but I can't remember them off the top of my head. Others short stories are my "I wonder what would happen if"s and some I have actually written for school assignments. As many who actually read my work will notice I have the tendency to ply readers with short stories to make up if I haven't been forthcoming with a chapter of the current novel. What I am working on now: I have a whole plethora of unfinished short stories and the beginnings of longer stories. I usually go, write a couple of pages, sometimes a couple dozen, and then get distracted (damn you, York!) and stop. Most of my writing has gone into two longer, untitled pieces. However not finishing Tears of Blood bugs me, so I think it might be best to not put up a story until I am done. What readers have seen is Stories about Jane which I have random scenes that are not enough to make a story, but enough for a scene. Betareaders: Okay so I know most of my short stories are not polished to perfection when I put them up. I'd rather put them up and let people read than take the time to thoroughly edit my stories to the point I should. Thus my solution is a betareader. I will go looking for one who seems to suit me, but I decided I should also just ask here and those interested could message me. So let me know if you are interested and I've never done this before, but hopefully, I'm not too difficult. Note To My Readers: I'm going to thank everyone who has read my stories and reviewed. I want to thank those who inform me that others have plagiarized something I have written. Usually by the time I get notice of it, the person involved has conveniently taken certain stories down. With a more positive outlook, I'm also flattered that readers remember my stories and let me know when this unfortunate situation arises.
