I want to work in Print Journalism. Luckily I live where there are a lot of publications! Getting my work out there!

My Pen name comes from a story I wrote and lost due to my old computer...dang it!

Stories I Like to Read on Fiction Press...

Sometimes I wonder why I still read stories on here. Sometimes it seems like everyone on here wants to write the same type of stories in the same type of settings. I love it when people write about different cultures and don't feel they have to Americanize their stories just to fit in on here and get tons of reviews. I can't help but think it is strange when someone lives somewhere else but sets their story in the USA. Please write about where you're from. I'd love to read about it. I also like unique stories, but I don't mind a good cliche story either. I like unpredictable stories too. I'll actually read anything, as long as it's written well.

My Reviews to Other Writers on Fiction Press...

I also think I come off as a critical reviewer. Blame it on the fact that I minor in Asian History. Analyzing and being a critical reviewer is all I ever do in research papers. I'm just trying to break the stereotype that people on FP don't care to help writers improve their stories. I want to help people improve. I also wish I would get more people to be a critical reviewer of Made to Dance Together. I do have an edited version of this story, but I don't intend to post it on here. Plus I'm sure I could change a lot more. Though I do think it would be nice if someone would tell me more about the story than they just liked it or something. Criticize it or give it all the constructive criticism you want, I don't mind. I've learned from college (Being a Journalism IMC major) that constructive criticism is the only way you'll ever improve if you want to be a good writer. If I don't review you, it probably means I'm too lazy to review or just plain don't like your story. I usually review stories that I like a lot.

On Made to Dance Together...

I'm actually not happy with MTDT and at times want to remove it because my writing has changed so much. I only keep it up because of the people who actually still like it, despite the grammatical errors. Storytelling wise, I'm proud of MTDT, but I hate all the grammar mistakes. I'm constantly thinking I should delete this story.
