Hello all,

This note is to let you know that I have now started to post on The Write Away community at LJ. They are at http://community.livejournal.com/the_write_away/ . I've been honoured with an invitation to join this community. Many of you are members of PH, so you should be able to join hassle-free. For those who are not a memeber of PH, I'm sure there are other ways to prove that you're trustworthy and if you are, I'm sure the mods will see that - but also note that it's not my place to guarantee membership to this community.

Please be advised that Chapter 35 will not be posted here; the next chapter will be the last one available on FictionPress. Eventually everything I've written/posted on FP will be removed.

Just to let everyone know, I will eventually start to post on LiveJournal. As soon as I figure out how to limit the viewing of my story to only friends, I will post the story for everyone interested (as friend status only).

There is growing concern in the FP community among authors posting on the site. It seems that plagiarism is becoming rampant and unfortunately for me and the readers of ABCP, this concern affects my story.

I’m quite torn about what to do, as I love writing and I also love sharing what I write but I’m concerned because I do not wish to have my work plagiarized. I have considered throwing caution to the wind by continuing to post while keeping my fingers crossed, but I now worry about it day-to-day. Coincidentally, a reviewer has recommended that I stop posting.

At this point I will keep posting, but will not be re-posting the rewrite as tentatively planned. Doing so would be dumb, and I’m glad I never got to it. This newer version has more details, more flesh to the plot and characters - perhaps it will even have other characters not in this version – I haven’t fully determined that yet. Maybe you’ll see this version in bookstores one day...

Still, if you do see my story somewhere else, under someone else’s profile here or in some other writing community, I need to be notified. As of late, I have been doing my own searches now and again, with the hopes that nothing comes up. It’s a tad nerve-racking.

As for other stories, I’m not sure now whether I should post any other stories, plagued by the same worry. I am unable to fathom what goes through someone’s mind when they copy someone else’s work and try to pass it off as theirs. I can’t comprehend how that would make someone feel good? It’s…it’s…it rendered me wordless and that rarely happens when I write (but quality and quantity are rarely 1:1 : P )

Oh, and I share candid's philosophy when it comes to plagiarists.
