I am a frustrated fiction writer. I was a newspaper reporter for 9 years, but suffered severe burnout. (How many city council meetings can you attend?) My main line of work now is computer operations. There is nothing creative about my job, so I am glad I stumbled across fanfiction. I read a wonderful story written by plasticChevy and became inspired through my emails with Claire.
Besides writing this fanfic, I take care of my registered quarterhorse, Dylan (named after Dylan Thomas), and my red Doberman, Ruby. I have owned horses since I was 16. This is where my knowledge of horses comes from, which is handy since I'm writing about a time period when horses were the main mode of transportation, other than feet.
I have changed my screen name to Adara/BoromirFAN. Adara is Greek for beauty. Sorta pretentious, but there you have it. So don't get confused. Eventually I will drop the BoromirFAN.
