Author has written 6 stories for General, Historical, General, and Fantasy. I'm constantly writing, but I write mostly fanfics so I don't have a lot of stories on this site. I'm afraid to say that I think my fanfics are actually a lot better than most of my originals, but that's OK. My older ones are not written as well (maybe that was kind of a "duh"). I can tell that my writing is improving as I go, because I'll reread my older work and think "that was good, but it was poorly written" and then I'll read my more recent stuff and think it's not half bad, so there you go. If you're looking for the best written of my fics, I suggest Short Notes and Silent Glances, I am Everyone, or Black Sun, but Black Sun isn't finished yet and it'll probably be awhile till it is. It's gonna be a longer story. I wrote "Trip to Japan" first, then "America", then "Black Sun" (but it's still in progress, so I guess you could say I'm also writing it last... the more recent updates will be the newest of my writing), and then "Short Notes and Silent Glances," which is my baby. That's my favorite original that I've written. I most recently wrote I am Everyone. Have a look see! America: Yeah, I've noticed some flaws in this one. I was mad when I wrote it so I tried to make our country look perfect... which, I admit, it is not. So, I guess it isn't the best. Maybe I'll revise it sometime, but I don't have enough time right now. Maybe over Easter break I'll make a few changes. It's giving America a personality, basically. I forget what that's called, but there you go. Be kind in reviewing it, because I know it ain't great. (Not bad, but not great) Short Notes and Silent Glances: As I said before, my baby. This is sort of based on a true story, and yet not (as I say in the A/N). It's about my friend who has this guy friend who has issues... written from her POV (she told me it was incredibly accurate). The story is about her trying to get information out of this guy during a class which I didn't name, but I like to think it was Science because that's the class I wrote this during. =) It's pretty short, suspenseful, a little angst-y... sorta... OK, not really that much. Anyway, she's having troubles talking to her friend since it's in the middle of class, so... that's basically it. The whole thing is her trying to get information out of her friend that doesn't wanna talk about "it" (whatever "it" is...). This is probably one of the most well-written of all my work, fanfics included. Black Sun: This one is my baby in training. Set way in the future, the main character is a guy named Naith. He's a kind of poor loner who lives on the streets and gets random small jobs here and there. He gets a rebel job and finds a gate, then sells it (what a dumb move) and it ends up in the president's hands (the president is a bad guy). So Naith has to team up with a bunch of people he doesn't like to get it back. It deals with a lot of moral stuff, because everyone has different opinions and such. It's pretty fantasy-ish just because it takes place after the sun burns out. They survive without a sun by using heat lamps and a sheild built over one country. So, basically, there's one country left in the world. And no, it's not Japan. =) I have this odd obsession with Japan, just because the Japanese are so cool. Which leads me to my next story... Trip to Japan: This is what I wish would happen to me! I want soooooo bad to be an exchange student to Japan, but my parents were like "fat chance" so I decided to write a story about it. Cause when I write, I imagine that I'm the character I'm writing about (sometimes I really am) and so this way, I can be in Japan without paying for a plane ticket! But I can't just go to Japan and be all happy, because then there's no plot, so this girl Mandy (me) meets an enemy that she needs to settle differences with... and, of course, meets a cute guy (like I said, I'm Mandy! She' meets a cute guy, I meet a cute guy! She kisses him, I kiss him!) and whatever. As I mentioned before, it's been put on hold due to an incredible block, homework, and other stories that I like more (lol). So... you can read it, but you can't finish it. Start reading at your own risk! Heavenly Hell: This was not written by me, first of all. It's written by one of my friends about a picture he found on the internet. It's a poem (freaky, him writing poetry... what's the world coming to?!) about this girl who's kinda half-beautiful and half-ugly, literally. She's kinda like Two-Face on Batman, where she's exactly half and half, like two different people. And she's pretty. Both ways. It's hard to explain... you'd have to read it. I am Everyone: Yay! I have a title for it! This is freakin' short, so it really won't take long to read. It's just a short thing talking about joy, and me wondering how some people can have joy when they have so little of everything else. Wrote it in Mexico. It was very insightful. (I went there on a mission trip. It was muy divertido!) WARNING: I'm a LotR nut. Just thought I'd mention that. All my stories are dedicated to God, because without Him I wouldn't be alive, neither would any of the people who so generously offer me wonderful reviews. I love Him with all my heart, and if you do too, then you ROCK! =) Really, name one thing that God HASN'T done for you! Song verse? Go to ffn. I'm too lazy to put it up here, too. fanfiction.net/profile.php?userid=186464 happy? | |||||||
