Aisuru is not my real name. Ai is Japanese for love, and aisuru means beloved. Why a Japanese pen name? My first fanfics were about Sailor Moon. Oh, if you think Sailor Moon is stupid and childish, then you have probably only seen the English dubs. It is a much better show in subtitles (especially the R movie). Mamoru and Usagi rule!

I saw my first episode of BtVS in the fall of 2001 (yay FX reruns), and wow! That started more fanfics.

Then I started writing challenges, which meant more Sailor Moon, Labyrinth, and Ranma.

And now I'm watching Inuyasha.

I am 26, married, and getting my MS in biology (or at least I will if I can stop reading these fanfics and get back to work on my thesis). The stupid real world is trying to distract me from my happy fantasy escapism again.
