Hello.

I loathe all fics posted here. Thus, I loathe myself.

Don't get too alarmed. This is a natural thing, with me at least. About a month after completing any writing, my liking for it makes an abrupt downward swing, and after a little while longer, I begin to utterly and completely hate it.

Will I continue writing? Of course. Of course. Will I continue these fics? Dunno. Probably, but that doesn't mean I like the beginnings any better. In any case, my writing on fanfic will slow drastically in a bit. See the above link -- Moon to Moon Novels, of which I am head. (Mwhahaha, all bow before me, etc., etc.) I also participate (mine is the first in my "Milikan" fantasy series, Opening the Door, which has the dubious honour of the most unoriginal name I could possibly have thought up.) Between that and administrative details -- nyeh.

However, to all my dear and highly beloved readers (however crazy you are for wasting you time, so on and so forth...), it's only for a month, less than. Also, I've a few things saved on my hardrive. There's my first completed slash fic. Very mild, never fear; if either Severus or Remus were female, it'd... *scans fic and notes the warfare and Sirius's adolescence language*... all right, it would still be PG-13. But it really shouldn't squick you. The second is a (long) first chapter to an AU. On this note, why is Moody not a choice for the character filter? (!)

And if things drag on for a longer time, as I'm in the middle of a nastily difficult semester course, I'm three chapters ahead in "To Kneel". You all know I like to stay four chapters ahead on that, but Slytherin House politics are suddenly thickening, and even if Severus won't admit it, he'd bewildered -- almost as bewildered as the author. It's also extremely long, this in-progress chapter. I'll break down and post Chapter Nine if I must, however. (Or is it Chapter Eight?)

Right. To clear up any confusion (and to end this quickly, cleanly, and painlessly -- Roy Lockhart is my own darling muse, but I find it difficult to take after him; aren't these bios tortorous to fill out?), yes, I'm Jobey Rana, more commonly sans the Latin frog. Which, for anyone curious, came about because my younger brothers could never pronouce my full name; "Jobey", on the other hand, is a long story. So long, in fact, that it's "To Kneel." *winks*

And no, I'm not British. Flattered anyone'd think so, in fact -- I try to sound that way during appropriate stories -- but I'm American, a student (meaning relatively young, as opposed to some extremely odd assumptions: I'm not married, have no intention of doing so anytime in the foreseeable future), a Republican, and a Cancer.

And about tired of talking for so long about absolutely useless stuff. *takes the liberty of being zodiacily-approved crabby and retreats into shell*

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone; happy birthday, my stepdad (I won't tell your age, don't worry), and older-younger brother. (And, just in case you're confused by that, J.R., I mean you, not the younger-younger one. And yes, I will be attending your party, of course -- but why Hooters, of all places? Sexuality inactive -- and even a lot of active -- women have had no delight in that place since Alan Kulwicki, and, I may remind you, he celebrates deathdays nowatimes. As you well know.)
