Author has written 7 stories for General, and General.
College is back in. Annoying isn't it? Which means that I no longer have free time and I still have no motivation nor inspiration. I've realized that a large part of it is due to my lack of interest in fanfiction in general and it creates in me a certain apathy. I see so many fanfics out there and see a lot of what I consider bad fics getting the same amount of attention and sterling reviews as mine gets and it's a bit disheartening. I just feel like part of the mass of S+S romance fanfic and feel like my story gets lost in the mass. I'll still try to finish my story up for the truly devoted readers but it no longer has very high priority in my life especially this semester because my workload is very heavy thanks to some of the classes I'm taking where I have to read a whole bunch of incomprehensible books on philosophy. Also I used to find extraordinary stories to read to give me inspiration but I can't find them anymore and although I'm proud of my story it becomes a bit daunting to me to know that my work even in my own opinion (and I'm a harsh critic of myself) is actually some of the more original and well written fics out there. Sorry for the rant but I felt I needed to explasin my lack of interest in writing to all that cared to know.

Oh and for anyone that wants an introduction. I'm Starlight Rose. I love anime and manga. Some of my favorites being Fushigi Yuugi, Ayashi no Ceres, CCS, CCD, Marmalade Boy, Kodomo no Omocha, Kaitout Saint Tail, Initial D and a whole lot of others. I would love to be able to call myself an otaku but I'm afraid that would be presumptious of me. I draw and write whenever I have actual time to or am bored out of my mind. I enjoy reading well written fanfictions and especially revel in reading and writing angst. One of my biggest pet peeves is people calling themselves otakus without knowing the true meaning of the word and having seen only a the few animes that come out on TV.

Current Projects:

Heart's Treasures: Chapter 11 is done. Chapter 11 tells of the events after the Solstice Ball dance. It follows fairly closely to the original Grimms Fairytale though I have added my own touches to it.

Of Cards and Wands: Chapter 5 is finished and I hope to get Chapter 6 done before my break ends, but on that we'll see. And a final warning note (Rant ahead): If you don't like the idea of a CCS/Harry Potter/ Digimon crossover then DON'T READ IT! Don't complain about me ruining my story b/c I worked my butt off to come up with the various components of this story! This is my story and I'm not changing it b/c a fw people don't like it. If you don't like the idea, tough! Don't read it!

A Time to Heal: Once I have time I'll do Sana's chapter.

Partings: Partings is complete but I'm planning a sequel to it taking place when Sakura is 16. I'm still trying to work out the title, but I have a basic idea of the plot. I'll start on it when I get a break from my schedule which won't take place until around December once all my finals are over with.

Twin Destiny: This sequel to An Unfinished Task will probably take me a while to work on so don't expect anything soon. The response to it wasn't very good so I'm not sure anyone really wants me to continue or not.

Yet another English assignment/ This time I was aiming to scare my teacher and wrote what one of my friends referred to as "A dark, twisted, parody of a pastoral poem." I think it describes it pretty well. It's about a demon king pleading to his love to j
