To start off with, my name is Brenda, last name not available because I don't feel like picking up any stalkers. ^_^ I'm female, a Texan, and a DBZ fan all rolled into one. I've just started my first semester of college after putting it off for a year and a half (shame on me!) and I'm currently aiming for an Associates Degree in Arts. I'm an artist and a writer in my spare time, but I'm hoping college classes will turn the art into an actual career. Maybe something in animation or computer animation... ^_^
My favorite character in DBZ is Bardock, a character whose vast potential has hardly been explored at all. Other favorites are Goku, chibi Goten, Gohan, and Mirai Trunks, in no particular order. Vegeta has one of the most complex characters, so gotta add him to my list of favorites, too. ^_^ Radditz and Turles are moving up in line, mostly because they have great hair, they're Saiyans, and they have a LOT of potential because there's so little known about them. ^_^ All other characters are okay, except Nappa. I'm prejudiced against Nappa. -_-;
As I said, I'm also an artist. Not much of my work is on the Net, but what little there is can be viewed in my homepage (link available above), including a few DBZ pictures.
Before DBZ I wrote Redwall (by Brian Jacques) fanfiction, although none of it is currently available on ff.n. My writing skills weren't quite as polished then, and I'm still debating whether or not it's worth the ridicule to post my early fanfiction here. ^_^* I started writing DBZ fanfiction mostly as a challenge to see how well I could do at it, and also to try to encourage the population of Bardock stories. ^_^ There weren't (and still aren't) enough Bardock stories to satisfy me, so I began to write "Wish For The Past," a story about Bardock, Goten, and Trunks on a time traveling adventure.
At this point, I only have two definite stories planned for after I finish WFTP, although I have ideas for other stories that I might end up writing.
1) Dark Future - This is an alternate ending for Wish For The Past, detailing the events that would transpire if the dark future that Bardock glimpsed DID happen. It will probably be mostly from Vegeta's point of view.
2) Seer of Life - Sequel to WFTP. After Goten and Trunks return to their timeline, a dark force that seeks to destroy the essence of life itself begins to make an appearance. Bardock holds the key to combating this entity, but first he must come to terms with his past deeds, his present circumstances, and his new and untrained psychic powers. (Can't give a better summary until after I finish WFTP for fear of revealing something I shouldn't.)
