About the Author: Known to many under just as many
different names, I tend to create some confusion. But that's just
the way I like it. For anyone who cares, I'll give the
basics. I'm female, a freshman in college and I've been writing
for quite awhile. I read and write a lot of historical fiction,
fantasy and young adult stuff.

D.C. has written another story. It's titled 'In Death's shoes'. All
that's left to be done is type it up, send it off to my beta reader,
and post it here. Well at least some of the work is done...

Happy New Year! Story is typed and proof read. Now all I have to do
is get my Word document to do my bidding. Which will most likely not
happen, causing me to curse colorfully in as many languages as I can
think of, including Jedi. I'm to go kill my computer.

In honor of my main character's birthday (see 1 & 2), I'm going
to start on the next chapter. (I know, I know, I haven't even posted
the first chapter of the damn thing. What can I say? The computers hate
me! So I'm trying to fix that little issue...) See, lovely footnotes:

Hey. Made some minor changes to 'We're off to see Tortuga'. And for
some reason this still reminds me of 'We're off to see the Wizard' from
The Wizard of Oz. Speaking of, I'm reading 'Wicked' by Gregory Maguire.
Wickedly funny, if you'll excuse my pun. 'In Death's Shoes' still not
working. I'll have it up by the time school starts, and you can hold me
to that. In the mean time, working on other stories and trying not to
snap. (Oh, it's fun.) Later.

Okay. So the posting didn't go as planned. V. v. sorry to anyone
who is waiting for my story 'In Death's Shoes.' School this year is
keeping me busy beyond belief. And with Musical last month, I'm still
recovering from stress and sleep deprivation. Not that this gives me a
good excuse, but I'm using it anyway. If anyone is interested, my
sister has written a 'prequel' story to my 'In Death's Shoes,'
featuring her character Avelyn. I have already read it and can safely
say that it is v.amusing. Plus it has nearly every major genre
(fantasy/sci-fi, action and romance.) Her penname is Zizziana
Nightstar. So I'll keep my fans (if I have any) on their toes and I'll
try to get my story posted soon. Soon being the key word.

Wow. It's been a long time. A really long time. A really really really-
well, you get the point. Anyway, I've been writing as per usual.
I finished the second chapter of 'In Death's Shoes.' I was looking back
at past updates and I realized that I lied. Oops. Well, I'm trying to get
my stories up. As of now, no guarantees on when, but they will be
posted. Eventually...

Posted a new story I've been working on. The idea came up about
four years ago and I wrote a short story as an English
assignment. About a year or so ago, I found it again and decided
to rework it. This is the product. Enjoy the first two
chapters!

I just posted the third chapter of Chronicles today and I'm working on the next few chapters. In Death's Shoes is getting love too. It actually gets more love than any of the other stories... Anyway, enjoy the new chapter!

Well. Life is good at making itself very full isn't it? I've been busy as
usual, with school and sewing. I guess that my sewing has gotten the most
love recently. I bet In Death's Shoes is feeling rejected...
Chronicles will probably be getting some more writing time, since the
characters are good for my Chaucer assignment. Hopefully I can update
Chronicles and Shoes soon. And the pirate saga needs love too. Oi...

I live! And so do my stories in some form or another. 'In Death's Shoes' has been getting major planning, as has 'Chronicles.' I even started a new story.

Notes:
As a
note, 'Beginnings' takes place in Port Royale, while 'Saffron
Kidnapping' takes place on the SE coast of Cuba. Both are foundin the
Caribbean.
As another note, the boat mentioned in 'Saffron
Kidnapping' is a creation of my mind. However, it is similar to a modern dinghy, except it's a bit bigger and has a mast, as well as a few
sails.
