Hello there! I'm Corina Becker, aka Neko Baka Z, aka Zika Silver1. I'm a Canadian university student studying English Literature and Creative Writing. While I'm eyeing a Masters of Creative Writing, I'm probably going to end up getting my English Honors degree, getting a job and taking Library Science courses online so I can get a Library job and write on the side. I like to think that I'm known mostly for my webcomics, Amhelaki Misadventures (http://amhelaki.comicgenesis.com) and Lord of the Shepherd (http://lots.comicgenesis.com), but I'm thinking it's mainly for what an odd creature of a girl I am. I am most often seen racing wheelchairs down the hall wearing kitty ears. Random dancing also occurs.

My official medial diagnoses are Asperger's Syndrome (mild Autism), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, Chronic Iron Anemia, Asthma, Allergies (I'm allergic to grass, wheee!), Learning Disabilities (Reading Decoding and Processing Disorder, in a literature major) and recently Sleep Apnea. I flirt with insomnia (what university student doesn't?) and strongly suspect I have Restless Leg Syndrome. My mother says that I have a carbohydrate addiction, since I constantly crave sugar. And all these years I've been saying I'm a sugar addict, sigh... either way, I live an interesting life of just balancing on the obsetity line. and yes, I can't spell. Thank the Powers for spell checkers.

Most of my stuff here are minor works from my high school years, full of my curious version of morbidity and just plain weirdness. Go ahead and poke at them, I'm fully aware of the idiocy in them. I've taken off my collection of poetry, mainly because sometime in the future I want to publish it. So basically everything here is the stuff I don't think is professional enough for the printed press.

Also, I'm posting some recent creative writing, from the course I took this summer, and the word challenges on LJ communities. Enjoy!

Note: I've just noticed. My older work on here needs to be resubmitted. So if it looks all odd, I haven't gotten to it yet, mainly cause I have to dig through all my old backup files.
