Hello. I'm Heaven Smile. I'm from North Carolina and I'm currently working on a few poems I'm doing. Mostly every piece of my writing will be poetry so don't expect stories from me, unless by some miracle I come up with some idea for a story, but that probably won't happen. I am a writer who finds inspiration where many other writers would and would not, and I find that letting yourself fall into the beauty you admire and love is the most spiritual connection an artist can achieve. I listen to music as a creative outlet for my poetry, and I write when I am inspired to do so.

When it comes to those that have influenced me, I have come to understand that not everyone or everything is as tangible and solid as it may seem, it doesn't matter how much you may have as long as what you have means something to you, and what good is a voice if it is never heard or used? I've learned that words mean nothing if you can't speak them or voice your feelings behind them, and opinions are useless when not expressed; to fight for what you believe in...now that is worth more than the wealth of a single man.

Likes: Tattooes, Piercings (though I have none), BDSM, Massochism (except fire), The ocean, Poetry, Requiems (from classical to more modern tunes), Music, Anime, Trent Reznor's work, and any art (especially if it speaks to me or if it's an abstract piece)

Dislikes: Alcohol, Liars, Addicts, Alcoholics, Fire, Water (drowning), Marilyn Manson (nothing personal really, but I just don't think he can reach out to different people with his music. Between mentor and prodigy, he just can't touch people's souls like Trent Reznor can).

Favorite Band(s): Nine Inch Nails (Trent's work has just been pushing me to a more evolutionary process in my writing and it is helping me take a more broader view on life. Where most casual NIN fans, and even some of the more older fans of his work, may not find the beauty (or the appreciation) in his softer creations, I find hope and peace in these works of art). Also Toad the Wet Sprocket, Smashing Pumpkins, Faith No More, and Mr. Bungle.
