Author has written 2 stories for Fantasy, and General. About Me Age: 19 as of January 2008 (I may not update this page for years, so yeah ...) Gender: female Location: New Zealand Likes: Reading, writing, playing World of Warcraft, going out to dinner with my friends, coming to work, rain, fog, thunder storms. Dislikes: annoying people, badly written books/stories, hot weather. 2 July 2008 Well, it's been a LONG time since I updated this profile. I figured I might as well put something here. If you have found this page you are likely following a link from my fanfiction.net page, where I write Harry Potter fanfiction under the same pen-name. For a couple of years (since book six came out) I was very over Harry Potter fanfiction, although I still dropped in to read some of it from time to time. I'm writing it again now, though who knows how long for. I am also trying to work on an original fiction novel/series but that's coming along a little slowly at present. I think I need to start it in a different place but can't work out exactly where. This general lost feeling in regards to the story isn't helped by the fact that I no longer live in a house that inspires me to write. I'm not sure how that works, but I've had very little success in writing since moving to New Zealand. I would say it was the country, or the area, but I can write fine when I'm at work (although I suspect I should be spending more of my time actually working). In any case, I am still working on the book, and if it gets anywhere I may even post a few bits and pieces of it here, although no promises there. I heard somewhere that publishers don't like that kind of thing, and getting published is a dream of mine. In the meantime I am trying to keep my writing skills sharp by playing around with HP fanfiction, working on my ability to inter-weave plots and develop characters. I think I'm getting much better as time goes on, so that will hopefully be a good sign for my original works. Things I currently think are awesome: Name of the Wind, Patrick Rothfuss - very good book. I haven't quite finished reading it yet, but it seems highly awesome, and the author is a very cool guy. Read his blog if you're ever board. Doctor Who, House M.D., Supernatural, Numb3rs, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer - these are my favourite TV programmes, they are all good, reasonably witty/intellegent and thus a lot of fun to watch. If I write any more short stories - which I might - I'll post them up here. Maybe. Anyway, that's it till next time I realise it's been two or three years since I updated my profile. Bye guys! ~WolfMoon~ | |||||||
