Big long note:
I’m giving up on writing.
Those were the five “shocking” words that I said to 3 of my friends today. I am now saying it to the two people that read my stuff online.
There are a few reasons why I am. One of them being is that I just don’t like my own work. As somebody brilliant once said “You are your own worst critic”, I just…It’s really hard to explain. I don’ like my work, and I always find an error that nobody else will probably see or care about.
The second reason I am is because of my writer’s block. It is the worst one that I’ve ever had. I wind up hating everything that I write (even more so then when I don’t have a writer’s block.)
You guys, my reviewers, have been the greatest. Except for the one flame I did receive, you guys always put a genuine smile on my face.
I’m not leaving fan fiction or fiction press, if anybody has gotten that idea. No, I’ll still be on, reading and reviewing your masterpieces. I’ll also occasionally stray work that I may find (or haven’t typed yet)
It’s just better for every body that I give up. My work is fake, and has no experience behind it. I lack experience (as well as talent).
It’s like this thing I read in a book. I live in a snow globe, and every time I come too close to the border, I’m zapped back to the ground. I just wish someone would shake up my snow globe once in a while.
I love all you guys, and this really is for the best. Hell, it may not save humanity, but it will save some one the time of writing a hurtful flame.
If you want to see real horribleness, it’s all here. The only reason I don’t completely obliterate this name is because of the reviews and the reviewers. I love getting them
