Author has written 1 story for Love. 1.10.2003 Something Like Love: Finished. I wish I could go back and re-do the whole thing, but I don't have the time, so I'll simply leave it up as it is and strive to accomplish better writing in future stories. Closer to Perfect: In Very Slow Progress. I plunged head-long into this while riding the waves of personal success from finally finishing 'Something Like Love.' I plunged so quickly into the first chapter that - employing my typical incredible foresight - I did not realize I had absolutely no plot or direction with which to mold future chapters. To make a short story long, this fic will be on hold, possibly until the summer. I have to rediscover my inspiration for the whole Lily/James genre and I have to either come up with something for them to do in sixth year, or just delete this fic and move onto their seventh year. Either way, it's going to take some time and deliberation, so please don't hold your breath and get desperate waiting for the next chapter to come out. I realize I should have thought before posting this, I should have had some semblance of a chapter two before I did so, and it's not fair to you at all. I'm very sorry, but I refuse to settle for whatever pops into my head with this, like I did with 'Something Like Love.' I want to give you the best story possible, and that just isn't conceivable at this current time. Sea of Green: In Progress. I like this story. I have a mental outline of where I want to go with it. That makes me happy. I shall be working on it in the relatively near future. The Extent of Innocence: Finished. This was a quick one-shot I wrote many years ago. It borders dangerously on a stream-of-consciousness piece. It's rather shallow. But I'm still proud of it. Final Shoe Dropping: Not Yet Posted. It's a dark Draco/Hermione fic that I only have a few pages on. It's my favorite piece so far, but there's still very little there. I need to work both by myself and with my beta Inkbleed on some intense characterization and the plotline needs to become a lot more intricate before I can truly call this a story and start posting it. I know you don't want to hear my excuses, but life gets very busy for me from now until June, and fan fiction will have to take a backseat to my sports, acting, schoolwork, and relationships. If you have anything at all you'd like to tell me, or you just want to talk, you can e-mail me. I still adore writing and Harry Potter very much; I just can't engage in those passions right now. I love you all! Kelsey | |||||
