I first discovered fanfiction one day in 1999 when I got a random craving for the movie 'Labyrinth' but didn't have the video with me. I typed "Labyrinth" into a search engine and discovered...fansites and fanfiction! That was also the year I discovered anime. Soon I combined my two new obsessions and started reading anime fanfiction.

My favorite series (as you can tell) is Slayers. I'm also very fond of Ranma 1/2, Dragonball (still haven't managed to get my hands on DragonballZ though), Inuyasha, Fruits Basket and Clamp Campus Detectives. Anything fantastical and funny. Browsing fanfiction.net is one of my favorite ways of wasting time.

By the way, Ilione was the eldest daughter of King Priam and Queen Hecuba of Troy. She was sometimes called the most beautiful of their daughters but was otherwise completely unremarkable. I wanted a name with some classical class but without the baggage of 'Cassandra' or 'Andromache'.
