I consider myself a writer--I suppose whether I'm "good" or "bad" is up for debate, but take a look at the stories below and judge for yourself. I prefer to think I'm close to "good", but whatever.
Now it's time for a plug. (What, already?) Those fanfic authors hereabouts who are opposed to lemons (for those who don't know; stories or scenes in a story which more or less exist to depict characters in the most graphic sexual acts possible), or at least the presence of lemons here where little childrens can get at them, should check out the Virgin Anti-Lemon League (http://www.geocities.com/VirginAntiLemonLeague/). It's pretty much what it says, save that you need not be a virgin to take part. At the least, have a look at the Member Opinions. It could be a real eye-opener.
That's all said, then.
My favorite anime is...Cowboy BeBop (that English dub! *drool*), though I've also fallen in love with "Spirited Away". Ironically, I've really only done one BeBop fanfic.
Also, Yoko Kanno's music is some of the finest man has yet produced, with the possible exception of Pachelbel's Canon in D (particularly that string quartet arrangement by Sagisu Shiro--you can find it on the "Evangelion: Death & Rebirth" CD).
