I'm a high school student that has only been recently introduced to anime. Well, as a kid I have seen some anime in Taiwan, but back then, I didn't know it was called that. Anyways, I am born in America, and have lived here for most of my life, so I don't really know any Japanese or any other languages. I just read other people's translations of manga and anime and I put my complete trust in them, so if I get something wrong, sorry!
Fanfiction is just a way for me to vent my obsessions and to practice my writing.
What kind of person am I? I'm the type of person that you see in class who never talks or participates. I am seemingly boring and have no sense of humor. People will usually classify me as the silent, shy person who no one will remember after they graduate.
But when you get to know me... Be afraid...
It takes me a long time to befriend someone. I usually have trouble making friends because I'm boring, I don't talk, and all the usual stuff. I also have a weird memory. Some stuff, I can remember till the day I die, but other stuff, I can't remember at all. Example? I read a lot of fanfictions, and I read fast. Usually, I can remember every story that I have read. Problem? Can't remember the title or author. AND, sometimes I combine two stories in my memory and everything gets screwed up.
By the way, if you know me because I contact you through email or AIM, don't be too surprised if I don't remember who you are, what you wrote, or what you did. That's just me. (Once I forgot my friend's name...)
What else do you want to know?
I get obsessed about something easily. My first obsession was Rurouni Kenshin. Then Detective Conan. Then Inuyasha. (But I really, really, REALLY love Inuyasha.)
Favorite books? I love books that are long. My favorite series that I can think of are Lloyd Alexander's Prydain Chronicles, C.S. Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia, and J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter. One series I don't like is J.R.R. Tolkien's Hobbit and Lord of the Rings (although the movie was terrific!).
My favorite food? Noodles.
Favorite video game? Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy. (I told you I like stuff that's long.)
Favorite fanfiction authors? Jules (Hero series), Becky Tailweaver, Rosefire, xMagicalx (Promise of Nightmares). There are some other people, but their names and titles of their stories escape me at this moment.

Oh yeah, I like to sing. Problem is, I sing really bad. For some reason, when I listen to music, it gets distorted in my head, so when I sing it, I sing the distorted version. The only time I can sing right is when my sis giving me key notes so that I can anchor the music to the right melody. Weird, isn't it? (My sis and I also sound eerily the same. Sometimes, when we talk at the same time, our voices "lock" and it sounds like some sort of freaky echo.)

I have relatives living in Taiwan, Australia, and Japan. My ancestors came from China somewhere. Me? Born and raised in USA, so I don't know anything about any other country. I can pretend to know, though...
