Come into my parlor said the spider to the fly...

Welcome. Bienvenidos! Yes, it is time for another update of my bio. The closest one to the truth yet! No, really. I promise. Well, its definitely closer, at least. Profile style!

Age:17

Name: Just call me Katherine. Katt is also acceptable.

Location: Somewhere in the Southern part of the US.

Grade: Senior!!

Birth Day: September 19.

Social Status: Single. And not unhappy.

E-mail: its right up there. Why don't you just read it? Come on, honestly. But yes, I'd love to hear from ya'll. Send me an e-mail anytime, about anything. Just put your pen name or something about fictionpress in the subject line so I know not to delete it.

Current Project: WD, all the way. Its a writer's group some friends and I started. Weekly writing, some of which have already appeared here. And we are getting published! But, don't worry. I'm still writing my other stuff. Not like anyone was actually worrying...

Favorite Books/Authors: 1984, One Hundred Years of Solitude, Catcher in the Rye, Vampire Chronicles, Stephen King books of all types, Sarah Ash's trilogy (that I can't get the last to...), Holt (very funny, British Author), Garcia Marquez, Anne Rice, Orwell, Rowling, and many other I most likely forgot.

Favorite Movies: Star Wars. Lord of the Rings. Harry Potter.Daredevil. Hellraiser. Thirteen Ghosts. Casablanca (now that I've FINALLY seen it...). Princess Bride (book, too). Monty Python. And, again, many I've definitely forgotten.

Other Random Things: I am Christian, which accounts for the lack of much cursing, sex, or other things. I try to shy away from it, if possible. So far, it has been. I play soccer, on the school Academic team, and currently Beth of the Little Women in the school play. And that's all.

SUMMARIES

Treason:

A human, Allison, and a vampire, Maverick, engineer an ingenious plan to eliminate their enemies and rivals. But when others begin to get suspicious of the assassinations, Maverick begins to get nervous. But is the price of power worth the risk of his life? COMPLETE!!!!!!!

Renewal:

Allison gets out of the hospital, pretty much entirely better by this time. Maverick and she continue their wanderings about the country, a bit less hurried now that the Hunter on their tail is appropriately disposed of. But when Maverick's sire returns, displeased by his fledglings betrayal of his own kind and friendliness with a mere mortal, more trouble than they are capable of dealing with may arise. Old friends and volatile enemies may have to save Maverick from this ancient demon. But can Allison save him even with their help? And at what cost? Almost Complete!!!!

Vendetta:

Final Installment in my Trilogy (which needs a title, if anyone has a suggestion). As Maverick grieves and wallows in self-loathing, his many enemies return to exact their revenge. Can he, with the help of old and true friends, survive the onslaught? And more importantly, can he convince the one who matters most that it wasn't his fault?

Future Projects:THE WD BOOK! YOU SHOULD ALL BUY AND READ IT!! So...I'm a little excited...

My Muses: They're a dysfunctional group, I'll give you that. But each plays a vital role in most stories. Some will occasionally refuse to give any input. Doesn't happen often. But, I'm bored, so here they are!

Alivar: Of course, The Boss himself. He's pretty much overseer of everything. Thinks up plots, plot twists, and murder plots. Bloodthirsty, ruthless, and a little bit psychotic, he's the life of the party! Not really. He's kinda mean. Lives in a closet. You don't want to see what's in the closet. Refined adn haughty, you have to know him well to like him. And most the time, you don't want to get to know him. Actually quite brilliant at times, though.

Darrel: Really, he's the only one Ali doesn't hate at different times. Mainly because he's a good worker. The poet of the bunch, he's the one that inspires my descriptions of things. Quiet, reflective, he likes to sit and play his guitar for hours on end. A travelling bard, he's very philosophical.

Jennifer: Not that different from myself, I'm really not sure what she does. Which is why she and Ali don't always get along. Pretty much, she's my actress. Always there to help me get reactions from characters. Also the model for many of my female characters. Combinations of she and Annette typically create the personality of them all.

Annette: Quiet, very much like Darrel, but more shy. She is, once again, an actress. Also the vioice of reason. I point to her whenever there are no gaping plot holes or contradictions. She's always there to say something just doesn't work. Usually okay with Ali, but not when she tellshim he doesn't make sense.Which is a lot more often thanhe'd admit.

Jitter-Bo (JB):Ali REALLY doesn't like him. He's a slacker, a bum. Writes my comedy, but never really tries. In fact, he doesn't usually do anything and leaves the comedy to the rest of the gang. Typicaly found slumped in a chair watching old TV reruns, he dos have some occasional ideas that are worthy of anything. Lady Attlebay, for instance. He's a fun uy to hang out with, though... JB and Darrel create most of my male character, with Ali occasioally thrown in. If, that is, he doesn't write himself into the story.

Yes, that's them. I blame them. Typically. I think there may be another hiding as the inspiration for my insane characters. I have a few too many of them for there not to be someone. Must look for him. Or her. Oh well.

Recommendations for Reading: Well, if you like supernatural, read the Betrayal series (Treason, Renewal, Vendetta). If you have time. Or 11:59. Again, if there's time. Shorter works I would suggest in this genre are "Lurking", "Vicious Circle", and "Seeing is Believing". i really don't have much taht isn't superntural. I need to branch out. But for comedy, I would definitely suggest "I Love You" and "Lady Attlebay's Visitor", though the latter does have some supernural echoes. If you want poetry, I'm sorry. The best I can offer is "Salem". I would also recommend reading Marian B (short ficion), reese McNeese (romance/comedy), Ivy Majors (Supernatural, long, but well worthg the read!). There are more, and I'll think of them. Happy reading!

Later!
