Author has written 9 stories for Fantasy, Horror, Love, Humor, and Essay.

Hi there ^_^ My name is Kat, and I like to read/write about science fiction, fantasy and romance. I am not very prolific, but I do my best to meet the deadlines for new material that I usually post as each story develops. I also love to get to know other writers through AIM or email. Favorite authors are Joan Vinge and Anne McCaffrey, favorite book is Catspaw. If you like Catspaw too, email me and I will worship you. I'm an anime geek as well...currently followingNana, Fate Stay Night, Ouran High School, Kiba, Holic and Utawarerumono (I don't usually watch that many but they all came out at the same time!)Good stuff!

I'm currently in between projects and experiencing a serious shortage of morale and inspiration. Hopefully I will get a good idea and the will to write it soon. I'll let you know as soon as I have some sort of ideas (I'm sure the millions of people dying to read my next work will be waiting in restless anticipation till then ^_~') That was a joke, but IF there is someone out there who is interested in some particular project, be it Identity Crisis, the sequel to Scars, or something new, I will be grateful to you more than you could imagine just for being interested enough to email me about it.

Scars is finally done! Please take some time to give it a try if you have a chance; I put a lot of myself into that one.

I have ideas for how to proceed with Identity Crisis, but the biggest problem with that story right now is that my writing style has changed drastically since I first started it. It might be an interesting read for people who want to watch me 'evolve' from chapter 1 to chapter whatever, but 13 is the only chapter I can really call close to my current style. But I plan to make it very interesting after that, once I'm done with Scars ^_~ lol.

I absolutely love receiving critique on my stories and I would be very grateful for any feedback you might have, good or bad, as long as it's constructive. I make a point to help offer feedback in return to everyone who leaves comments for me. If you read, please review! "Joe wuz here" is enough, if only to let me know you exist!

Drawings of characters and things can be found on my homepage if you are interested.

If you like to roleplay, I highly recommend this website: http://www.heirot.com
. It's a play-by-post forum-style roleplaying site, which basically meanswriters taking turns to create stories together. The people there are wonderful, and new characters are always welcome!

News:

06/27/06: Scars 19 is up! The story is done! Yay my first completed story!

03/25/06: Scars 11 is up!

03/11/06: Scars 9 posted. Could use some input if anyone has time ^_~

03/04/06: Scars part 8 up

02/25/06: Part 7 of Scars up!

01/28/06: Part 4 of Scars is up ^_^ I was hoping to keep the story rated T, but it was necessary to move the rating to M. It's too bad that fictionpress is set up so that everything designed for readers above 13 gets extremely limited visibility, but I don't want to be responsible for messing up some kid's head with violent images X_X.

01/07/06: Ohhh my. Yes, I have the gall to show my face again, but trust me, I am updating regularly this time. I know this because I wrote ahead this time ^_~. That is the good news! The bad news is that I might not continue IC for a while. It's a story I originally hatched in 9th grade, and parts of it I've just grown out of, but I do feel like it would stink to just leave it unfinished after working on it and rewriting it for 8 years.... Anyway, my current love is Scars, which I'm really enjoying, and will update weekly on Saturdays.
