UPDATE (2/21/07): Since my problems accessing the site has been cleared up, I'm not ruling out posting future stories here. (You may have noticed I put up the first two chapters of my extremely silly 2006 NaNoWriMo novel The Crazy Grad Student Who Thinks She Has Time to Write a Novel (It's kind of autobiographical, but not really. You'll see what I mean when you get to the part about her fairy godmother crashing Bob Cratchitt's Christmas dinner.) That's all I was able to get to during November last year. More chapters may be coming, if the mood strikes, but I'm still basically focused on TOTK. You can also always check out my blog, Poohba's Bibliotèque for updates. I apologize to the TOTK fans out there who are STILL waiting for publication news. I promise, I haven't forgotten you!
UPDATE (7/24/06): I've started a new blog called, Poohba's Bibliotèque, to keep you updated on my writing - and my favorite new and old reads.
QUICK UPDATE ON MY WRITING (12/5/05): As a lot of you have probably noticed by now, I have taken the majority of "Thorn of the Kingdom" off FictionPress, leaving only a couple short "deleted scenes." I didn't do it to be mean. I'm just trying to look at things from the perspective of an agent or publisher. Why would they pay me for something if people can already read it elsewhere? That's the main reason I'm not going to be e-mailing the story out either. I'm sorry if you didn't get a chance to read it while it was up :( but I hope you will see it in print some day. When I get news in that department, trust me, you'll be hearing from me. g
SHORT (OR NOT SO SHORT) BIO: I'm a 20-something former newspaper reporter, who for some insane reason recently decided to go back to school and pick up a master's degree. That means I went from having next-to-no free time to absolutely no free time. I am really looking forward to Christmas break when I might actually get some fun writing done.
I'm also an amateur historian. I love studying, reading and thinking about just about any period in Pre-20th Century American or British history. Stories set in a time period I've actually lived in just don't seem to do it for me.
One more thing... I love getting e-mail and I do respond to the e-mails I get in what I hope is a timely manner. So, if you have any questions or comments, or just want to talk to someone about writing and/or books... go ahead and write me!
