Anyways, you are looking at the remains of my days of writing- I still write of course, but less uploading is involved. My name, should anyone care, is Michelle, I'm 19 years of age and I live in California.
Current writing sample:
The moss, underneath the touch of her fingertips, was thick, and
sticky; when she retracted her trembling fingers it clung to the satin
skin. Stubbornly, bitterly; scented in a cloyingly sweet way that
became almost overwhelming as she rubbed her fingertips together.
It smells like blood.
The scent lingered as she turned to rush deeper into the woods. Soft, silky tears streaming down ivory white cheeks.
Pale
blossoms clutched to her chest, as if their bridal-veil petals could
somehow banish the harsh words she had spoken - and those that had been
spoken to her. The petals left a fluttery trail behind her, a trail she
didn't know she was leaving until she heard the sharp snap of a twig
behind her. She froze, knowing very well who it was behind her.
"Ishamayl." A whisper, barely loud enough to be heard, full of fear and loathing.
A hand travelled down her back, and she started to feel the icy tendrils of his power inch around her aura.
He blew at the back of her neck. "Do you know what losing your innocence means, little pheonix?"
She thrust up her chin, mentally willing her lower lip to stop trembling, and slowly nodded.
He
laid the briefest of kisses on her neck and chuckled. "You made a
lovely speech of it in your last life. Ah," he sighed, "let me see if I
can remember it.
"You said, '
Losing your innocence is like losing a limb. You can still live - you
can move around. But you will never dance again, not like you once did.
You will never run across a meadow without a shadow drifting over your

.' A lovely speach, really, and you would be an expert on the subject."
She
could feel his aura wrapping tighter around her, and she knew from the
core of her soul that her love would not come. She could not feel him.
