Author has written 6 stories for General, and Fantasy. I AM LEGOLAS THE ELF!!! No, not really, just in my Two Towers game. Be kind of freaky if that were true in real life, wouldn't it? *walks away to go practice archery and tie my hair into those braid thingies. Remind me to craft myself an elven knife one of these days, would you?* But no, I AM NOT A RABID LEGOLAS FANGIRL!!! I only think he's cool 'cause he's good at shooting stuff! *just realizes how moronically fangirl-ish that sounded* And anyways, my favourite characters are Elladan and Elrohir so there! *sticks out tongue* (Though really, they are my favourite characters, they rock...) But seriously, I am KarateElf, the humour writer who really has a fondness for angst. If you're wondering where in the heck I got "KarateElf" from, I'm a rokyu 3rd (purple belt) in Okinawan Uechi-Ryu Karate-Do, (however, I shall probably be promoted within the next few weeks!) and, quite frankly, ELVES RULE! They're these superintelligent, really awesome warrior beings. It rocks! Also, I'm cousin to the author Clarinet Elf Chick, so here follows a shameless plug for her work! READ IT, YOU FOOLS! If you want to know more details about me, my life revolves around music. No, not the trashy junk that you call 'pop', I really love classical. It just makes so much more sense to me than anything else. (Sounds weird coming from a high-schooler, doesn't it?) I play the piano, the guitar, the clarinet, I used to play French Horn, and come the second week of January, I will be learning cello. Some other music is acceptable to me, other than classical. (Have you ever heard 'New Day' by the King's Singers? God, it's AMAZING!) But anything modern really really sucks! Well, except for Green Day. I can stand them, but that's the limit. I love medieval stuff, everything about it is awesome. (Especially the weapons!) I make chainmaille armour for fun, but I'm nearly outta rings and kinda broke right now. As soon as I get more, though, I will be finishing the stainless steel hauberk that I have in progress. FACTOID: Did you know the plural of rhombus is 'rhombi'? New favorite quote: "YOU'RE a rhombus, Greg. Now shut up." "Dude, my name is Craig." "So?" "You just called me Greg." *much silence* "I know what I said! Umm... SHUT UP!" - two of the people in my Geometry class So runs the sad story of me... and if you're reading this, I MOST HUMBLY BEG AND PLEAD of you to review my poetry! -KarateElf a.k.a. Ana Maria a.k.a. Warrior Bard a.k.a. That Clarinet on the 30, known to many as "Hey you in the green shirt!", unofficially dubbed 'The Queen of Roundhouse Kicks' by my karate instructor... *marches away humming the 'Chariots of Fire' theme* (Ok, ok, you're probably laughing at that one. It was a boring movie w/ one good song ok? Sheesh...) | |||||||
