11/2/2007 - I now have over 3,000 words for my NaNoWriMo novel... another chapter should be up in the near future (hopefully by tonight, though it may end up being really early tomorrow morning). I would love feedback of any sort - positive or (constructively) negative.
11/1/2007 - NANOWRIMO 07 WOOT!
It's here and I plan to win. 1,200 words already and only an hour in... check out the first chapter - the story is called "James."
12/1/2006 - Failed another NaNoWriMo. I'm not cut out for sprinting. I'm more of an endurance writer. At least, that's my excuse for never actually finishing a novel. They're all "in progress." I have a lot for this novel, though, so I may have a rough draft done by mid-January. I'll start posting as soon as finals are over in three weeks.
11/6/2006 - National Novel Writing Month 2006 - on a roll for the first time ever ::knock on wood:: I'll start posting in a day or so.
8/21/06 Concerning Chloe has been removed - I read it and it needs a complete overhaul. It will be back - and it will be very different. A new piece has been added, however. It's a short, political satire called "A Vital Proposal." Yes, I'm ripping off Jonathan Swift. I'll think of a new title later.
LIST OF STORIES:
A Vital Proposal: Political satire. How do we solve the mud-slinging, finger-pointing war between Democrats and Republicans? Easy - do as our mothers used to do. Break it up and send them to time-outs in different corners.
To Send Thee Out Of Door: Not exactly a story. It's my poetry collection, so poetry lovers, read up!
Act Two: A short story about friendship. It can be rough. Enough said.
The Road: Another short story. Very short, more like flash fiction.Just a reflection.
James: A young woman meets an old friend of her fiance for the first time, prompting memories of stories her fiance told her about his difficult childhood.
Concerning Chloe (removed): Thanks for all your support with this one. I'm revising it, and hopefully soon I will be able to continue and repost it.
Thanks!
