Author has written 6 stories for Historical, Play, Fantasy, Spiritual, and General.
Either you're here to see what some of my stories are like, or you're here to read about me. Sometimes I think I'm the only person who actually reads the author bios. Anyway, if you're here to look at stories, you're probably not reading this, and if you are reading this, I guess you want to know a little bit about me.

Name: L. Scribe Harris
Age: 18
Hair/Eyes: Brown
Height: hmph.
Fashion Style: A collision of English Schoolgirl and J-Rocker
Sex: If the above didn't tip you off, I'm female.
Job: Poor University student/ writer.

About me!

I'm a first-semster freshman at a University, and am majoring in English. I am also persuing minors in both Music and Asian Studies. Other interests include reading, art, music, martial arts, crew, kayaking, the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronisms), and Japan. Favorite genres are fantasy and historical fiction, but I also enjoy some science fiction and general fiction.

I wrote my first book when I was four, illustrations and all. And you know what? It sort of had a plot and was wonderfully, amateurly, existentialist. These two pegasus/unicorns had to save a bunch of orphanage children from an evil king or something like that. It was cute and sappy, and my parents still have it.

Thanks:

There are a few people I'd like to mention, not that they'll ever read this. I'd like to thank them anyway, though. The Pagemasters, of course, have been my support throughout the past four years of my life, some for a little longer. How you've been able to stand your little "princess" I don't know, but thanks for doing it. Scribbie, of course, my steadfast editor and rubber ear. Thanks for correcting all of my comma-splices and letting me bounce all of my crazy ideas off of you. I still remember planning out our science fiction book in middle school, with the five kids and Taiven, the ferret. ^_^

Hannah Krakauer, my pet freshie and goddess of advisory smiles, thank you so much for reigning in my evil desires to overuse the semicolon and the dash. You're right--a little goes a long way. (I did it on purpose! Ha!) Thanks, also, to the other members of TANGENT.

I can't thank enough the teachers at **HS for everything they have done for me in my life. I will always have an unhealthy attatchment to you all. Thank you Dr. Busonik for being the most amazing English teacher I've ever had; thank you Ms. Sarocco, for teaching me to laugh in my writing; thank you Mr. Mitchell, for being the coolest teacher I never had and for putting up with TANGENT's tangents; thank you Dr. Marshall, your encouragement in writing has always meant the world to me, you made me believe I could do it; thank you Mrs. Soloman for being the most loving teacher ever; thank you Dr. Humble for your smiles, your jokes, your pseudo-serious lectures, and your tears at graduation. Thanks also to D.B., Ms. Rasnik: Queen of the Universe, and the **HS faculty, you three were all very supportive, and you encouraged me to expand my talents in other areas. Attatched to you all? Nahhhhh....

Finally, thanks to Mom, Dad, Winston, and the rest of my family (and almost family!) for being there since I was *that* tall. Yeah, I know what you're thinking, so be quiet. I've grown since then.
