I used to go by 'danse'. I don't anymore. It happens. Before you ask me, 'shikata ga nai' is a very commonly used Japanese expression meaning, 'It can't be helped'. It suits my pessimistic worldview so well.

I'm nineteen, I study linguistics, I speak four languages and I know just enough to be dangerous in a couple more. I don't do poetry but I do like writing short prose. I've been known to spit out a novella in the past, and I have an idea for a book which I currently have no time to write. :/ I update this rarely enough as it is. Life's tough all over, I guess.
