Author has written 18 stories for General, General, Essay, War, Fantasy, Humor, Nature, Mythology, Historical, and Fantasy.

I found a humorous quote page a few days ago and saw many I liked. Be amused:

"A catless writer is almost inconceivable. It's a perverse taste,
really, since it would be easier to write with a herd of buffalo in the
room than even one cat; they make nests in the notes and bite the end
of the pen and walk on the typewriter keys." ~Barbara Holland

"The cat could very well be man's best friend but would never stoop to admitting it." ~Doug Larson

"The problem with cats is that they get the exact same look on their
face whether they see a moth or an axe-murderer." ~Paula Poundstone

"I
had been told that the training procedure with cats was
difficult. It's not. Mine had me trained in two
days." ~Bill Dana

"I wish I could write as mysterious as a cat. ~Edgar Allan Poe"

"Some
people say that cats are sneaky, evil, and cruel. True, and they
have many other fine qualities as well. ~Missy Dizick"

"If there were to be a universal sound depicting peace, I would surely vote for the purr. "~Barbara L. Diamond

Now, onto writing quotes!

Writing is a socially acceptable form of schizophrenia. ~E.L. Doctorow

If there's a book you really want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it. ~Toni Morrison

Easy reading is damn hard writing. ~Nathaniel Hawthorne

Most editors are failed writers - but so are most writers. ~T.S. Eliot

A good style should show no signs of effort. What is written should seem a happy accident. ~W. Somerset Maugham, Summing Up, 1938

Many books require no thought from those who read them, and for a very
simple reason. They made no such demand upon those who wrote them.
~Charles Caleb Colton

It
is impossible to discourage the real writers - they don't give a damn
what you say, they're going to write. ~Sinclair Lewis

The artist's only responsibility is his art. He will be completely
ruthless if he is a good one... If a writer has to rob his mother, he
will not hesitate: The "Ode on a Grecian Urn" is worth any number of
old ladies. ~Faulkner, quoted in M. Cowley, Writers at Work, 1958

9/2/05: O_o!! What is with the poetry?! Well, I managed to fight my way into a Creative Writing class and we're currently doing our poetry unit. Expect a lot more where these came from. ;_; I'm definitely not cut out to be a poet. My natural rhythm is so much better for a story than a poem.

6/11/05: Well, I finally got around to
uploading my original stuff. It's been floating around on my
computer for quite sometime and it isn't until now that I got around to
uploading them on Fictionpress.com. Watch out Oni is here!
