I uberly LOVE yaoi, sometimes yuri, and I can only tolerate het on some pairings. I absolutely LOATHE yaoi-phobes and people too stupid to read warnings. (Which, by the way, are in big, attention-grabbing, capital letters). Then they want to whine and cry how they were offended, all because they were too stupid and lazy to read the warnings. Not even a mentally retarded baboon could manage to bungle something as simple as that. Then again, that only proves that there's people dumber than mentally challenged baboons in existence.
I'm a 23 year old college student majoring in Japanese and History. Languages I speak: German, Russian, Spanish, Japanese, and English. I have a 4.0 GPA (and I'm proud of it! Woot!) I bust my butt in college; it's SO different from highschool. The best way I can summon up that hell hole is to say, whenever a prank was pulled, I was automatically on the suspect list. Hey, don't get the wrong idea about me now! The horns are just to hold the halo up! Though, I did skip a detention in first grade. Yes, first grade, when I was six. What can I say! Beauty is only skin deep, but bad is to the bone! .
You won't find much of my stuff here. All I write is fanfiction, and that's on my website and ff.net. I write anime and slash.I also love drawing fan art. I love reading, but I never get any time. My goal in life is to write a kick-butt novel set in Egypt. So far, I'm still on the research stage. And, no, it will not be appearing here. I write an odd mix of angst and romance in the fanfic world, but my "real" fiction tends to be very, very bloody and gory. And if it's not a horror, then it's usually a short "general" category piece with a twisted punch and cynical look at society.
Common themes in my fanfic writing: Lots of angst, and romance! Physical disability, abuse, rape, eating disorders, self mutilation, self esteem, and other emotional issues, defiance of authority, trouble with the law, etc. Yeah, I'm just a regular fluff bunny (NOTE: sarcasm) Oh, and I suffer from the inability to write a fic under a "T" rating. I've tried to do it, but I just can't. I've seen others do it and pull it off pretty well, and the fics are good/ well written and all, but there nothing spiffy. You know, one of those fics that are just like WOW, BAM!, the greatest fic you've ever read, it just pulls you right it, etc. Those great fics I've all come across have been T and above. (Hmm...I wonder if that's why I write the way I write...nah, I've always just liked chaos, angst, and blood. Lots of blood.)
Random things I like: Fruit and chocolate, barbeque sauce, rainy days (I just love a good thunderstorm!), full moons, anything ancient Egyptian, and powerful, well written books that really make you think and give you a new perspective, challenging norms and standards of society and how we view ourselves. And Samurai swords. And applebutter. Can't forget the applebutter.
