Well, I suppose since I've only been writing fanfics for two and a half years now, I ought to get with the program and finally put some stuff up on FF.net. I'm a Minnesotan guy crawling through college and living for anime club meetings Tuesday nights... indeed, I have little to no life, although I have had girlfriends in the past. My ten favorite animes are, in order from the top, (1) The Slayers, (2) Martian Successor Nadesico, (3) Cowboy Bebop, (4) Neon Genesis Evangelion, (5) Trigun, (6) Rurouni Kenshin, (7) Excel Saga, (8) Magic Knight Rayearth, (9) Love Hina and (10) X. As soon as I can save up enough cash for a video capture card, I hope to break into the anime music video scene. For now, I content myself in typing away on my Gateway and reading other people's far more creative and amusing works.

I also play video games. Not nearly as much as I used to, but fanfiction based on my favorite games are usually some of my favorite reads. My favorite game of all time is Xenogears, but I love every Final Fantasy (except 5 and 8), both Lunars, both Grandias (especially 2), the entire Zelda series, Castlevania, Smash Bros., Guilty Gear X, Goldeneye, the older Mortal Kombats and of course, Chrono Trigger.

I have also played the guitar for eight years (since I was 13), but I suck.

As a fanfic author I aim primarily for comedy--it's what I like to read the most and what I like to write the most. It's sort of an escape from my rather boring, depressing life. But I'm not above reading a well-written dramatic epic.

I'm as honest as I can be about the ratings. I have a perverted sense of humor and I'm the first person to admit it. If you're uptight about that sort of thing, well, then you'll probably want to avoid my PG-13 and R works.

If you read my work and you then think I'm a screwed-up person, you're probably right. My writing is largely a coping thing for me; it's my way of dealing with my screwed-up head and life. I just hope that somewhere in there you can see that I never write a story without intent to entertain, to make people laugh. And in the end, isn't that what it's all about?

What else can I say? Oh yeah. Bashing a character that clearly does not deserve it is tacky and tasteless at best and infuriatingly obnoxious at worst. If you're really that jealous of a fictional character, maybe you need to spend less time in front of the TV. I'm also not exactly fond of most alternative couplings. If the creator paired two people together, he/she probably did it for a reason, which by its very definition makes alternative couplings out of character. You're free to have your opinions, but don't impose it on others. Oh, and gratuitous yaoi/yuri between obviously straight characters for other than parody purposes really puts me in a bad mood. I'm not closed-minded, I simply don't understand how two straight men could possibly be happy about being forced to sleep with each other. I sure wouldn't be. /rant
