'Shelley'

I write because I want to, not to impress anyone, or because my writing is of any substantial talent or creativity. Ideas come forth from everyday things, what I see, feel, hear and live through each day. While the events that happen to my characters have not *directly* happened to me, people around me have gone through things like this, and I write about what is closest to me, and will not sugar coat things to make them pleasing to everyone.

My stories are not exactly of the 'feel good' genre, but I'm not a depressed person in any way. Despite the best efforts of my English teacher this year, I will continue writing as I do because it suits me. Simple as that.
