i've spent half my life being a closet writer and some of it stumbling about as a lit major, reviewing the geniuses (ha!) as though i were equal to the task ^_^ oh yeah, and dispensing sage advice to fellow writers who were either kind enough not to tell me to go to hell, were totally indifferent to my prosings-on, or maybe, just maybe, they thought i spoke sense. it's been known to happen ^_^

in person, i'm not too big on the cheese, so if i laid it on a bit, that must be due to lack in practice ^_^ i started writing fanfic because of tower-san, who wanted me to try a GMS fic, although i hadn't seen the series. she gave a few tips about the characters, i did a little research, and i ended up with awakening. however, i needed a break, so i started writing about the very first anime i ever loved, rurouni kenshin. it snowballed, and so i ended up with about 14 short prose and poetry pieces which i've just added here. i hope to add more.

tnx to tower-san for jump-starting my writing again. i was experiencing a drought in creativity, and so i owe you bigtime. ^_^ of course, you may just kill me when you read "pink", hehehe.

However, I just HAVE to say this: Ishinshishi no Requiem is the one disappointment in the RK world. It does not do justice to the series, especially because (1) it uses the same scenes over and over again, and (2) the plot lacks the subtleties one expects in RK. And Niji is a gratingly bad song due mostly to the vocals. *shudder*tear* WHAT WERE THEY THINKING? Hmmm...I have to watch that movie again, just to see if the traumatizing first time was an overreaction...I greatly fear that it wasn't, however. *sigh*
