I majored in English/Literature with a minor in Psychology. I don't know exactly when I started writing; but once I picked it up I just couldn't stop. Writing is one of my many outlets. It's exhilarating to put your feelings down on paper and when you're done, to read what you have created and feel pleased. It's also very fun. Even though I go through long periods of writers block, I somehow manage to write something down - usually at three in the morning. No, I am not a Shelley, Frost, Dickinson, or Poe but hopefully my poetry is a bit as enjoyable as theirs. Please, critique away; don't hold back. After all, that's one of the main reasons I decided to join this site. I hope you all enjoy what I have up. Shimmer I really have no idea what's going on with this one at the moment, even though I'm the one who wrote it. A previous note I wrote on here mentioned how I started rewriting it but I don't know where the copy has gone. Until I find it and start again, I'll leave the old one up (no matter how much it bothers me). Sepia Monochrome Enh...I might rewrite this one too or I might take it down...not sure yet. New Stuff The first chapter of a new story titled Ode to a Melody has been posted up. I'll post up more slowly but comments with reactions will sure be appreciated. One more thing...whenever I get an idea, I tend to write it down quickly and make lots of typos, errors, skip letters/words, etc. It's a lame excuse I know, but I try not to let any form of inspiration escape me until it has been typed down. I'll do my best to correct these errors though and bring the stories/poems back as soon as I can. Thanks to those who spot them! | |||||||
