I am26 years old, born in Canada and raised in Greece. I teach English and French and I am in my senior year for a BA in Psychology (three months left!).
I write a LOT. Mainly for my children (those I teach-- I do not have any of my very own), who find it easier to acquire skills when they read and talk about something that interests them.
This leads to tons of converting of literary works for non-monetary, teaching purposes (try writing the whole of Prisoner of Azkaban in dialogues fit to teach Reported Speech, and see what a teacher does to get what she wants... heh), pirates, princesses, dogs, cats, comics and virtually anything that they will like. I actually won a fanfiction award that way, by writing a novel length Harry Potter fic (and its sequel).
But I think my fanfic days are over since... *drumroll* I have had a book published, with two stories in! I have a teaser below here. Mwe heh.
The big book, which is going to be a trilogyand of which teaser illustrations you can see at my own personal site (go on click and visit!), is going to be out in April if this first book is a success. The second book in the trilogy is hopefully scheduled for Christmas 2005, if I do well by then.Wish me luck!
